Changing your organization to become more diverse, equitable and inclusive requires dedicated resources and expertise. Each client project I work on is unique, but here are the services I'm most well known for:

Assessment & Strategic Planning

I help organizations understand where they are, where they want to go, and how they will get there. In partnership with senior leaders, we co-create an inclusive path forward that centers the voices of staff who have been historically excluded. Deliverables for these projects often include:

  • A report on the current state of DEI, including barriers and opportunities

  • A customized and clear DEI vision

  • A unique DEI action plan leaders will actually use

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory

I've supported organizations in these roles: 

  • Interim Chief DEI Officer: As a short-term solution, I help organizations lay the foundation to set a future full-time DEI executive up for success. I help build systems and equip leaders with the knowledge, skills, and tools to sustain change after I leave.   

  • Launch + Stabalize DEI Structure: Using lessons I’ve learned from the dozens of volunteer DEI structures I’ve advised, I help DEI Councils and Affinity Groups (e.g., ERGs, BRGs) be set up for success and maximize their impact.

  • Ad-Hoc Advisory: While organizations scale their DEI strategy, I am often a thought-partner to leaders who lack bandwidth or expertise. I can be on retanier to answer questions, facilitate conversations, and offer feedback on DEI-related deliverables (e.g., communications, policies, and curriculum).

Instructional Design, Speaking + Facilitation

While one ad-hoc training will likely do very little to change your organization's culture; intentional, customized learning offerings are important tools organizations can use to raise awareness and generate buy-in. I use adult learning best practices to deliver engaging in-person or virtual learning experiences that explore topics like:

Why change?

Society is changing at a rapid pace. If you're not proactive about DEI, the bad news is you’re behind. The good news is it’s never too late to start.

DEI challenges are never one-size-fits-all, so their solutions shouldn’t be either. I use my decade of experience to help leaders avoid common DEI pitfalls without having to re-invent the wheel. 

The most effective change initiatives are: 

  • Bespoke, designed to meet your company's unique needs. 

  • Owned and led by senior leaders.

  • Systems-changes, integrated into day-to-day operations.
